This Is What They Told Me

CISV Australia t-shirt from December 2006 - the first shirts out to

use the brand new redesigned CISV logo and tagline! The logo is on

the back of the shirt.

The new logo sucks, I dont think there is a more diplomatic way of expressing it. Rebranding may be necessary but NOT changing CISV Logo - it is a stupid waste of energy. The new logo is ugly and forgets that there is difference and that we must learn how to deal with it... also, "bulding global friendship" is far from what we do in CISV, we do much more. The cisvres involved in real cisv (and not international burocratic meetings) will make sure that the old logo stays.

I think the shirt design is great, and as its about shirts, I'm saying this is a great t-shirt,
but if were talking logos then i'll agree with rubao.

Acctually i think the new logo is fine.. it looks a little bit corprate but in a good way!! i mean we've always had the same logo but it has evolved with time to be more printer friendly and up to date (you can see that from some of the tshirt logos on this website!) i agree i was against changing the logo completely cuz it has become a part of who we are as CISVers... but come on it looks good and u can still tell its the cisv logo..
As for building global friendship i agree the tagline isnt the best i mean we could have done better.. but its alright i mean it works and it pretty much explains the organization in a few simple words..

P.S. I'm very involved in "real" CISV not so much the international meetings...

P.P.S Love the tshirt!!!!!
