Happyland #2

Tracey (NZL): "This is the tshirt my delegation made to take with us
to "Happyland" looking back those colours were kind of ugly but I
think they are pretty impressive still!"

Fold it!

Inspired by the MAD-magazine, I designed a t-shirt a few years ago for
the Darmstadt Junior Branch: Sherlock and the silly cat don't know
what the heck is going on until they discover the sign...so if you
fold the shirt, you can actually (almost) read CISV. The shirt was

If there is underwear why not swimwear! Inspired by the serious tropic heat, the bathing suit idea was born... here two designs in three different styles are being displayed. came up with these but they are pretty funny when you see a couple
people wearing them. Toronto also made boxers with the same print."

Zeke (CRC): "Anna from Hungary gave me this t-shirt back in July 1999
at a village in Amager, Denmark (Camp of Imagination) Kids used to get
confussed and read HUNGRY Leader instead of Hungary Leader ". Great
story.

sorry if it may be shocking for some people, but this shirt actualy really exist. please do not censor and respect cultures. If not, i will doubt your cisv spirit. DIFFERENCE OF CULTURE IN THE SAME COUNTRY: this shirt was made from french canadians to show english canadians the non-impact of the f-word in the nowadays quebec french canadian culture. In fact, in quebec-canada, a lot of kids use frequently the f-word without even being grounded by their parents. For french canadian this word has the same impact than "darn". The kids use that word in a way because of the geographycal minority of french speaking in north america. they are exposed all the time to medias that they get from USA and the other provinces of Canada, which are english speaking. Every years kids from other canadian chapters come to JB mini-camps in quebec, and are shocked by seeing kids of their age (11...) saying that word out loud and laughing while activities and energizers, and no adults react. Even for myself, as a leader, everytime i went to an international programs, i had to tell my delegates to be careful about that word abroad. The funny part about that shirt, is that it took a while for people to notice it. Because between CISVers we are too used to see that logo on the front of a shirt. It becomes invisible when it's only the simple logo with no chapter written under it. This year, I wore that shirt at the national leadership trainning. which was the same weekend than april fool (1rst of april, friday). I wore it all day long and just a few people noticed it. (actualy, when it's on someone's shoulders, it's less obvious than on an image file cropped fit to the logo, like the one on this site). thank you for considering my message. -Marc Anthony (CAN)

I've nothing to say about this shirt except that it's from Anna's
(GER) family collection.

Faculty of Peace Education.

Linda (FIN): " The last one (CISV - the faculty of peace education,
Helsinki/Finland 2004) was designed at same time with hugging shirt,
last spring. This shirt is in good shape, but my old wasn't - the
printing company had some problems and some shirts may lose their
prints after washing it several times. So, if somebody have shirt like
this (swapped it maybe
last summer) and the shirt is now looking really strange - don't
worry. We can still try to get you a new one."

Hamburg Boat.

Nano (CRC)L: "I got it last year at a Summer Camp that I staffed, from
Dominik. A lot of people have this shirt, what colour is yours?"

Seeds of Mexico.

sow-a-seed-motive to the favourite themes next to smileys, puzzles and

Hockey Jerseys for Fundraising.

Kate (CAN): "CISV Toronto made these hockey jerseys. There were only a limited
number and they went quickly an auction fundraiser."

I love this shirt!

After Toby (USA), the incredible, added another 19 pictures to the archive, we actually hit our upload maximum for March on Flickr. Now It's April, and everybody is more than welcome to contribute more shirts to the archive. I've actually got some more cool ones on my harddisk.
